Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy
VillageRoot (VR) is committed to providing transparent and trustworthy services. This Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy applies to all physical and digital products (including household products, herbal items, tech products, applications, licenses, and services) purchased through our online or offline platforms.
1. Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled anytime before shipment.
- Customers may refuse the order at the time of delivery (Cancel on Delivery).
- Once shipped, cancellation requests will not be guaranteed and may be subject to approval.
- Digital products such as software, applications, and license keys cannot be cancelled once delivered, unless proven technically defective.
2. Return Policy (7–10 Days Eligibility Based)
We offer a 7 to 10 days return window from the date of delivery. However, returns are accepted only if the product qualifies under our eligibility criteria.
Return Eligibility Conditions:
- The product is damaged, defective, expired, or incorrect upon delivery.
- Return request is raised within 7–10 days of delivery.
- Product is unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition.
- Valid proof such as invoice and product images/videos are provided.
- The product is marked as “Return Eligible” on its product page.
VillageRoot reserves the right to inspect and verify returned products before approving the return request.
3. Refund Policy (10–15 Business Days Processing)
Once a return request is approved after verification, the refund will be processed within 10–15 business days.
Refund Method:
- Refunds may be credited to the original payment method.
- Refunds processed via payment gateways such as PhonePe, Razorpay, UPI, Debit/Credit Card, or Net Banking will follow the respective banking timelines.
- In some cases, refunds may be credited to the VillageRoot Wallet for faster processing.
- Bank settlement timelines may vary depending on the issuing bank and payment provider.
If the original payment was made through secure gateways such as PhonePe or Razorpay, refund processing time may additionally depend on their settlement policies and your bank’s clearance process.
Important Notes:
- Refunds are subject to verification and approval by the VillageRoot team.
- Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable unless the error is from our side.
- Custom-made or personalized products are not eligible for return or refund.
- Digital licenses once activated cannot be refunded unless technically proven defective.
- VillageRoot reserves the right to decline a refund request if policy terms are not met.
4. Special Conditions
- Franchise fees, training fees, and service charges follow separate contractual policies.
- Bulk or commercial orders may have separate return terms.
